SYLVIA HANKIN

I am a self taught artist born in Clerkenwell, London,where I lived for 30 years.Have had many exhibitions and have been a member of societies including The Islington Art Circle and Faversham Art Society. I ran an art shop in Clerkenwell and another in Covent Garden. I sold up and bought a narrowboat to travel and paint the waterways of England and Wales for a few years. I paint mainly in oils and like a variety of subjects prefering landscapes and waterscapes. I have produced prints of my work, greetings cards and canalware, and on my website you can see a selection of cabin lace.
